It is a French all-time favourite! Made with a melting buttery shortcrust pastry covered with a tangy light lemon custard. The filling is luscious but not too sweet nor “tart”. I started baking this tarte au citron in France as a teenager and was so proud of myself to achieve such a delicate dessert. I still love baking and eating it as much today as I did then. It comes in a smaller version as mini tartlets (please look at the catering selection)
